I am a painter and sculptor living in Shoreham Village on Long Island, New York.
After a full career as an industrial designer working in both Canada and the United States, I am now enjoying a new life focusing on pure artistic expression.
I paint a variety of subjects creating vivid visual experiences that are a blend of mood and perception. My training and experience as a product designer has given me an appreciation for striking graphic forms, perspectives and imagery. I especially like to use strong evocative colors in my work. Through painting landscapes and architecture, I explore the nuances of light and colors and how they can spark unique imagery.
Born in Canada and living in the United States since the early 2000s. I grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Industrial Design. Since then, I have had the opportunity to travel the world and work with many teams on many interesting and creative design challenges.
My career has amounted to over 40 years of experience working for a number of major corporations, consultancies and start-ups on technology oriented products and solutions in both Canada and the United States.
I am now retired and focused on fulfilling my design and artistic passion as a painter and sculptor.
